On January 24th 2014 we will be taking off on a new adventure. This time there will be no bikes involved. (I'm just not that crazy!)
We will be flying to Arusha, Tanzania for a Grumeti Expeditions private safari with our fellow adventurers, Peter and Marlene . We look forward to spending time in tented campsites during our visit to the Serengeti, as well as several lodges when we visit the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park and the Ndutu region.
The "Trans Kalahari Adventure" portion of our trip will be three weeks long, following a flight to Victoria Falls. This will be an overland safari that takes us from Zimbabwe, south west through Botswana, Namibia and ending in Cape Town, South Africa. At the time of this posting we expect to be joined by 4 Australians and 6 Danes.
Some of our destinations will be very remote and updating our blog will likely have its challenges but we hope to be able to share our experiences and photos with you.
Please post any and all photos of Peter being chased by lions, tigers, and bears! Video coverage would be good, too. And have a wonderful time. We'll talk before then! xox

Absolutely fabulous photos! It certainly looks as though you are having a very rich experience. Glad to hear you are being protected by armed guards - some of those creatures look pretty ferocious. Keep posting and have a marvellous time in your travels ahead. xoxoxox
